Robert Mondavi

Robert Mondavi belongs to the United States of America. He was the chief operator of the Californian vineyards for a major period of the 20the century. So he was not only a great winemaker but also a skilful marketer. If it were not for him, the wines of California wouldn’t have had a global recognition. He was born in the year 1913, and he died in the year 2008 when he was 94 years old. He was widely recognised for his technical and marketing strategies.

James Halliday:

James Halliday hails from Australia. Apart from being acknowledged as a brilliant winemaker and critic he is also a great writer, and he has authored more than 40 books, and all of them spoke about wine. His reviews are highly valued across the Australian continent and since the year 1986 he has been publishing an annual review and review has always garnered a positive response from the audience as well.

Cathy Corison:

Cathy Corison has been in the field of winemaking and tasting from the year 1978. She is one of the leading winemakers in the continental US. She also received the honorary San Francisco Chronicle award for the best winemaker in the year 2011. The position that Corison has reached today is stupendous, but she had to reach it the hard way. She has expressed in a lot of places, and she said that she was denied opportunities in wine cellars because she was a woman and also because she was short.

He makes and sells wines under his own brand name called Peter Lehmann Wines. His winery is based in the Barossa Valley. Born in the year 1930, he passed away in the year 2013 at the age of 83.
